How to make an intro or outro for your video in Camtasia Studio 8

Last summer I made a dead simple video tutorial on cutting out parts of your videos with Movie Maker and it was a big hit. In fact it’s still my most popular YouTube video over a year later. So I thought I’d kind-of follow it up with a tutorial on how to make video intros and ‘outros’ (is that a real word?!) with Camtasia.

In this video tutorial I’ll show you how to add an intro or outro to your video in two different ways:

1. Using the templates supplied with Camtasia Studio 8
2. Using an MP4 video intro that you can have made for you at Fiverr.com

I also demonstrate how to add music to your intro. Here it is:

Adding intros and outros to any video instantly makes them look more professional. But in this particular example I’m using my own intro to brand a white-label (or private label rights/ PLR) video.

The video in the demonstration is part of a WordPress Essentials white-label course which I’ll be launching soon at totallyplr.com. Just join the mailing list over at totallyplr.com or my list here at HelenLindop.com (enter your email address on this page) and I’ll drop you an email when its ready.

  1. Thank you for this Helen, that’s really helpful. Looking forward to learning more video tips. I really need to learn how to use Camtasia better.
